Anggun Cipta Sasmi, known as Anggun, is an Indonesian-French naturalized singer and songwriter. She is one of the judges in Asia's Got Talent series.

Background[]

Anggun was originally a teenage rock star musician before transferring to world and pop music. In 1994, she moved to London to pursue an international singer but failed due to poverty reasons. She later moved to Paris, France where she got commercial success from her 1997 album "La Neige au Sahara (Snow on the Sahara in English album and single version)" later got more from releasing "Luminisce" in 2005 and the leading single "Cesse la Pluie (Stop the Rain in literal translation; English version is "Saviour) is in Transporteur 2 (2005).

In second season of Asia's Got Talent, Anggun, along with David Foster, has returned as judges, while Melanie C and Vanness Wu are replaced by Jay Park, a new judge of AGT.

Anggun is a pop diva judge of AGT that delivers a breathtaking performance of her classic song at the Grand Finals of AGT. She is one of the best pop-singing sensation as a judge.
